The Everest Base Camp lies in the Solukhumbu district, also known as the Everest Region. This is one of the most popular treks taken in Nepal . Physical Condition & Experience Requirements
Everest Base Camp Trek is a moderately challenging trek, travelers who can walk up to 6-7 hours a day, on an ascending and descending trail will find this trek fulfilling. Activities such as jogging and regular exercise for couple of months before this trek would be beneficial for the physical fitness required for this trek. Trekking to the Everest Base Camp should be relatively easier for those who have experience walking/trekking in a high-altitude environment. Past hiking experience would be an asset, but no technical skill is required for this trip.

Best Time to Travel to Everest Base Camp Trek
The best time to trek to the Everest Base Camp is in the Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November). The temperature is moderate during these seasons and guarantees you amazing views throughout the trip. Although this trek can be undertaken during winter, the cold temperature might not be suitable for everyone.
