Manaslu is the 8th highest mountain in the world and is situated in the Kali-Gandaki valley of Nepal. The mountain was first summited by a Japanese expedition team in 1956. Manaslu is one of the toughest climbs and certainly the best alternative to train before climbing Mt. Everest. The climb is straightforward but much technical than Cho-oyu and Shisapangma. The climbers should have excellent physical condition and climbing training and experience in altitude of over 6000mtrs. Our climbing guides have high level of experience above 8000mtrs and will strive to serve you in the best way during the Expedition.

What to Expect

Physical Condition & Experience Requirements
Mt. Manaslu is a technical mountain. It contains technical and very steep ice and/or rock climbing. All climbers need to have good skills on rock and ice climbing and technically competent. Experience on ascending or descending on fixed ropes along a steep technical terrain is very important. A high standard of physical and mental fitness is also necessary for the climb.

Best Time for Mt. Manaslu Expedition
The post-monsoon season from September to January is considered the best time for Mt. Manaslu Expedition.
